Research Groups

The Physics Area brings together research groups in astroparticle and gravitational physics, astrophysics and cosmology, condensed matter, statistical physics, molecular and statistical biophysics, theoretical particle physics, and theoretical and scientific data science. Their work connects fundamental questions with theoretical, computational and interdisciplinary methods, while advancing machine learning and artificial intelligence for the natural sciences.
